The Story
The Sunriver Homeowners’ Association had the great idea to beautify their outdoor play space and appeal to the peaceful, warm surrounding forest. At Fort Rock Park, we helped them replace their old, outdated play structure with something new, modern, and inspired by nature! The landscape of Sunriver is full of lush forest, and this environment was the perfect inspiration for the playground design. We choose something to fit the landscape – natural-themed recycled plastic timbers. This option from GameTime allows for the appeal of natural wood while also being a long-lasting, durable recycled plastic.
The play area features the natural-themed, large main structure full of climbing, crawling, and sliding exploration. The main structure is surrounded by scattered free-standing play features, like a spinning net climber and swings. There are also several benches for caretakers to comfortably keep an eye on playing kiddos, and picnic tables to enjoy a snack after a long day of play. Tucked away in the trees, this little playground packs a big punch for the secluded resort.
