Salida Park

Salida Park is now a National Demonstration Site! This NDS playground features new and exciting equipment that meets "Play On" criteria for promoting physical fitness. 

The National Demonstration Site Network, led by PlayCore's Center for Outreach, Research & Education (CORE), recognizes projects that implement evidence-based design to create exceptional play and recreation environments. National Demonstration Sites like this one support health-related initiatives, providing meaningful ways for community stakeholders to gather data about the sites' impact on the community.

This playground features exciting play elements designed for spinning, overhead climbing (brachiating), balancing, sliding, and swinging.
