The Story
MRC Recreation was honored to help bring this meaningful project to life for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Let Us Do Good Village. Designed as a community for catastrophically injured veterans, Gold Star families, and fallen first responder families, the amenity center called for a playground that reflected the mission and spirit of the village itself.
Working alongside GameTime and PlayCore, we delivered a custom themed playground featuring military-inspired play panels representing the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, along with police car, fire engine, and ambulance play elements that pay tribute to first responders and service members. Inclusive play opportunities and poured-in-place surfacing help ensure the space is welcoming for children of all abilities. The project became a true collaborative effort, with donated installation support and contributions from multiple partners helping create a vibrant community gathering space centered around play, connection, and healing.
