Waveny Park

This sprawling park in New Canaan, CT is a nature-themed, inclusive oasis of play. The breadth of inclusive features has earned it a National Demonstration Site achievement using the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design. 

Waveny Park earns its National Demonstration Site (NDS) status for implementing design best-practices for inclusion. It features an open play area populated by a large ramped unit, musical chimes, climbing nets, and multiple inclusive features: An accessible spinner, RoxAll See Saw, zip-line, and more. 

And there's more, not just for the kiddos! The park has a dedicated exercise area featuring outdoor fitness equipment for teens and adults. Instructional panels make it easy for anyone to use the equipment properly.
